Sweet Dreams

Alright so it says its the 25, but thats only because I forgot time while completing the article for my internship. Finally done.Other than that the day began 8:30 with breakfast and no classes until 10:25. While sitting on the floor outside the classroom I noticed the other classes sitting and writing some test and then some from my class began talking about that our test is in 1 or 2 weeks. The morning shattered. After long last the class start with a guest speaker from the Department of State talking about human rights and such.

After listening to a very unclear discussion about Guantanamo Bay where I delivered the long awaited question:

"When did U.S. acquire Guantanamo?"

Not one of my best questions, but whatever. Lunchtime. Pancakes with some chocolate syrup and whipped cream. All the Americans talking about that its breakfast so I had to explain the Swedish tradition of pancakes and pea soup on Thursday. Next on todays schedule is a senator hearing at the Hill. I teamed up with most of the class that headed for the hearing about appointing ambassadors to Libya and Turkey with John Kerry and senator Robert Menendez from the OAS meeting. Not the most interesting hearing but it became heated during some occasions when Menendez verbally attacked the nommine to Turkey. Another strange thing was that both nommines introduced their families during their speech. What for? I asked some of the other student why they did that and they didn't know.

Sneaks in for some dinner before the WASSA meeting and then listens for 2 hours when we plan this comming fall for the students. Giving some ideas for surtain things on some occasions and then drifting away when they begin speaking about some "Fall Festival" and I sitts like a question mark. Celebrating fall? And they say we are strange by celebrating Walpurgis night (valborgsmässoafton). Also the issues about the presidential debate comes up as McCain has began to pull back. Because of this we decide to do a minor change that if its cancelled, everything is postponed. Afterwards we try decorating, but look ourselves out from the dining hall and stands there for 10 minutes trying to get contact with anybody. After that it takes 5 minutes and we are out of there.

Now I need a good night sleep cause tomorrow will be though.
