The Looking Glass

Sometimes it feels like people know who you are, but you have forgotten who they are. Even more irritating is the fact that you remember what they look like, but you have forgotten their names. Those that began their higher academical studies in Karlstad last year know what I'm talking about. Apologies to all I forget and especially the one that complained the most. Hope for your one sake that you remember the name and faces of 60 new people in the timespan of 2 weeks.

Anyway, todays first speaker was someone from an organization speaking of disarmament of nuclear weapons and such things. Interesting, although I forgot everything he said. Lunch time. Testing something new so I got out and bought a chicken wrap. The bread turned to be something green. Tasted alright, but I'm getting sick of all this healthy stuff.

Next speaker was Senator Richard G. Lugar in the U.S. Capital. Very nice looking building, but it feels very gloomy and cramped. The senator was a very energetic old man. Republican and high ranking member of the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations. He began with talking about Russias aggressions in Georgia and suddenly we have another environmental speaker urging the need that energy has a new big role in foreign policy. It feels like Through the looking glass with Republicans speaking about the environment and such. At least I can't see anything in the Swedish news about what our parliament are saying about that.

Re-read most of the blog and found many typos. The best was under the chapter Ready to Strike when I had a cold and I end the whole chapter saying that "that I hope the cold gets worse". Now one has commented on that so I don't know if someones reading this, but its still funny.
